6-Week ThrowDown Courses
Unplug & Create
Ready to put down your phone and get your hands dirty?
Our 6-week courses are where you'll find your happy place. Step away from the screens, drop the daily grind, and join us in our ego-free studio. Whether you're drawn to the meditative spin of the wheel or the raw, tactile freedom of hand-building slab mugs and sculptural art, you'll learn the fundamentals in a welcoming environment designed for you to safely fail your way to mastery. Expect muddy hands, a few beautifully wobbly first attempts, and the incredible satisfaction of watching a lump of earth become something entirely your own.

What to Expect from a Course:
-
The Time: 6 weeks of progressive learning. Each
2.5-hour session builds on the last, taking you from raw clay to a fully finished, glazed piece. The Supplies: We provide the earth and the gear. Every student gets a full 25 lb. bag of clay—plenty of mud to get you through the entire six weeks. You'll also have full access to our shared studio tools while you're here. No need to buy your own setup yet; just show up ready to get messy.
-
The Tracks: Choose your own adventure. Book a wheel-throwing course to learn centering and pulling, or a hand-building course to master pinching, coiling, and slab construction.
-
The Vibe: 100% ego-free and community-driven. You'll be learning alongside a small group of fellow makers who are also figuring it out as they go.
-
The Bonus: Complimentary open studio hours are included while the studio is open. Come back, grab a coffee from the kitchenette, and practice your new skills on your own time.
If you still have some questions check out our FAQs page.
