Service Description

This 6-week course is where it all starts. Step away from the screens, drop the daily grind, and join us in our ego-free studio. For six weeks, you'll learn the fundamentals of hand building in a raw, welcoming environment designed for you to safely fail your way to mastery. Without the distraction of a spinning wheel, you'll learn how to construct functional art using just the earth and your own two hands. Expect muddy fingers, a few beautifully wobbly first attempts, and that incredible moment when your vision finally takes shape right in your palms. The Details: Length: 6 weeks (Meets 1x a week and builds skills each session) Class Time: 2.5 hours each week Seats: Intimate 10-person class size Price: $350 per person Bonus: Complimentary open studio hours are included while the studio is open so you can practice your new skills! Pinching & Coiling: Mastering the oldest techniques in the book to build organic forms, mugs, and curved vessels from the ground up. Slab Building: Rolling out flat, even sheets of clay to construct geometric shapes, boxes, or structured vases.
